The Myanmar Ministry of Agriculture has released the latest list of banned pesticides

Prohibited List: Comprehensive Ban on Multiple High-Risk Pesticides

Announcement No. 7 explicitly prohibits the use of pesticides with high risks to human health and the environment. These pesticides may exhibit carcinogenic or highly acute toxic properties, or pose significant environmental hazards such as high persistence and bioaccumulation. Some are also listed in the POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants), PIC (Prior Informed Consent), and HHP (Highly Hazardous Pesticides) inventories, and their use has now been comprehensively banned
